Ready Clean Kit a new product

I came up with the idea for Ready Clean Kit
right after the Covid sheltering ended.

I was playing golf and I wanted to wash my hands after touching things...no can do.

I had to wait until I returned to the clubhouse.
So I went shopping and found 2 spray bottles
At Michael's and a golf towel at the golf store
And carabiners at the dollar store and I was set I filled one bottle with a squirt of Dawn dish soap added water and filled the 2nd bottle with plain water.
I attached to my golf towel and voila I had a hand washing station on my golf bag.
In the following weeks I found many more uses for my Ready Clean Kit.....

Firstly the golfers in my group wanted to use it before eating a hot dog at the turn or after
using the restroom on the course.
Next we found it great for cleaning our clubs
And balls as we played. Then after the round
I sat in my car melted from the heat of the day
and I thought how nice a shower was going to feel.  Wait a minute....I went to my trunk unclipped my new kit....sprayed my face and neck rinsed clean.....I felt not shower clean,
but pretty close! I felt refreshed and ready
to go in the clubhouse for a beer and share
my experience with my group.

On the drive home I was thinking of all the uses for my new idea. It's lightweight
portable so many scenarios popped into
my head: Hiking,camping, fishing,picnicking,
cleaning my son's hands without dragging him to the sink;in the car before eating drive thru, after using the atm, just so many instances where you want to clean your hands but couldn't....I stopped at a stoplight recently
my windows were down and a homeless woman approached me I didn't have any cash
I did still have my cleaning kit and I didn't give her mine but I asked if I could pull over and see what her opinion was of my idea. It took
a while for it to sink in but she was very positive about it and finally said she would use it everyday!!!!! She explained that she spent a lot of time going from gas station to food store to find clean bathrooms to wash herself......she actually said she would use it to clean her entire self not just her hands and face. I told her I was just in the idea phase and I didn't have one to give her but I asked
If she would wait for me and I went to a drive thru atm and got her $20 i said to her " thank you for your time and opinion I want you to have this money to make your own kit if you like, you have helped me a lot" I said my goodbye and left feeling motivated even more.

So I wanted to start producing my kits and selling them to everyone.
I bought my kit from retail stores in pieces:
Golf towel. $ 15
Spray bottles. $ 2
Carabiners $ 3.00
I paid $20 to make my kit....I would have to make a profit but I felt people would balk at
that price!

Long story short 3 years later I am selling my
READY CLEAN KIT on Amazon for about $6
each.....I am proud to offer a product that truly helps people in their day to day....I give them out for free to fellow golfers, homeless people,
and just anyone who looks like they could benefit from it.

I am never going to get rich from this idea but it felt like a worthwhile process and it taught me a lot about bringing a new product to market. The best thing is I can tell my son this story in about 5 or 6 years, he's 8 now and
I hope he catches my spirit of invention!

Thanks for your time......off to the golf course!

or Cinnamon Buns $ 1 each.... good price....

Now that gas is back over $ 4.00 a gallon

I think we have to start thinking differently in the way we go about our shopping
nowadays.........I have trained myself to go straight to the internet when I feel I need
to buy a particular item.....for instance I recently was in need of new contact lenses, milk
thistle tablets (Viatmin Shoppe Item),and a construction stud finder...all in the same week...
rather than make trips to three different stores I sat down with my search engine (sorry)
and found 1800contacts.com,Puritan.com,and overstock.com and I found all my items for
a better price than I could find locally and I did not pay any tax as I am not in the same state
as these companies, and in the case of overstock.com I did not pay any shipping charges as I
used their shipping free shortcut o.co and of course I did not use a drop of gas !!!!! Just thinking
differntly than I used to...
